Katie Querna

Katie Querna (she/her) received her PhD in Social Welfare from the University of Washington (2018) and finished a postdoc at the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Department of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health (2020).  She is an assistant professor in the Social Work Department at St. Cloud State University. Katie is an intersectional feminist gender researcher, using community engaged, creative approaches to try to ask, “how do we collectively grow connected, compassionate, feminist boys and men?”  She has taught for nearly 20 years.  Katie also teaches adaptive yoga and loves to dance and tell jokes to her senior dachshund Willie.
