ResilienceCon 2024 will be held April 14-16, 2024. The information below about lodging only applies to when the conference is held in person.
The Scarritt Bennett Center offers an exceptionally beautiful and serene environment right in the heart of downtown Nashville. The campus is a combination of historic buildings (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) and tree-lined green spaces. The Scarritt Bennett Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to social justice, and we are supporting many strengths-based initiatives by supporting the Center. We hope the space will promote ResilienceCon goals by providing space (literally) for attendees to reflect on their roles as researchers and practitioners.
Scarritt Bennett, near Vanderbilt University, is within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops in the vibrant West End and Midtown areas. It is a short drive to Broadway music venues.
Housing is available on-site that is consistent with their mission to provide a place for mindfulness and spiritual reflection. Like many retreat centers, the housing is simple and modest (no televisions in rooms and every two rooms share a bath). We invite you to use the opportunity of the meeting to explore mindfulness in these surroundings and at least partially unplug. We believe that a less distracting setting will foster collaboration and connection.

Transportation
Approximately 15 minutes away from the Scarritt Bennett Center, the Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the closest major airport, offering non-stop flights to many U.S. cities.
For those traveling by car, the Scarritt Bennett Center (1008 19th Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37212) is near I-65, I-40, and I-24. There is parking on-site and other public parking nearby.
When arriving at Scarritt Bennett, your GPS may tell you to go down 19th Street by the chapel; however, the parking lot entrances are located on 18th Street. You may park in either Lot A or Lot B, and we will provide a parking pass to you in your tote bag when you arrive.
