Xiafei Wang

Dr. Xiafei Wang (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in School of Social Work at Syracuse University in the United States of America. Wang’s research focuses on unraveling intergenerational trauma transmission mechanisms and exploring the factors related to resilience development for trauma-affected individuals and families. Wang also examines the effects of diversity factors on trauma and resilience, such as race, gender, disability, and military experiences, to inform culturally responsive programs. Wang has worked on multiple evaluation projects funded by the U.S. federal/state government and the United Nations. Wang teaches HBSE, Diversity, and Program Evaluation in the School of Social Work at Syracuse University.
