Applications for Promising Scholars and Advocates
The deadline for Promising Scholar and Promising Advocate Scholarships has passed and scholarships have been awarded for 2026. We will be accepting applications for ResilienceCon 2027.
Scholarship winners are expected to attend the entire conference
People who wish to present should also submit their proposal through the conference submission portal.
Life Paths Promising Scholar Award: We are offering four scholarships to current students, post-baccalaureate fellows, and post-doctoral fellows that focus on under-served or marginalized communities.
Life Paths Promising Advocate Award: We will also be offering four scholarships for advocates who work in nonprofits/NGOs that serve oppressed, marginalized, and traumatized communities. We give preference to people in full-time advocacy, first responder, and practitioner positions.
Scholarship Details
Both the full Promising Scholar and Promising Advocate awards include conference registration and a $200 housing allowance for people who travel to Nashville from outside the area. We will pay full scholarship winners a $200 housing reimbursement after a submission of receipt from a hotel, AirBNB, or other housing is received.
A limited number of honorable mentions are also available (50% off registration).
Submitting a presentation or poster to ResilienceCon is a separate process. You should not wait to hear about submissions before applying for a scholarship.
